NFL teams recently had to bring their rosters down to 53 players. What former Georgia Bulldogs that didn’t make their team’s 53-man roster? Who are the nine Georgia Bulldogs that landed on practice squads?

    Atlanta Falcons

Defensive tackle Zion Logue (signed to Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad)

Tight end John FitzPatrick (signed to Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad)

    Baltimore Ravens

    Buffalo Bills

    Tight end Tre’ McKitty

    Cincinnati Bengals

Center Trey Hill (signed to Cincinnati’s practice squad)

    Detroit Lions

Quarterback Jake Fromm (signed to Detroit’s practice squad)

    Green Bay Packers

    Kicker Jack Podlesny

    Los Angeles Rams

Cornerback Derion Kendrick (placed on injured reserve for 2024 season)

    New England Patriots

    Wide receiver Matt Landers

    New Orleans Saints

Linebacker Monty Rice (signed to Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad)

    New York Giants

Wide receiver Lawrence Cager (signed to Giants’ practice squad)

Wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (placed on injured reserve)

    Minnesota Vikings

Safety Lewis Cine (signed by Buffalo Bills’ practice squad)

    Philadelphia Eagles

Running back Kendall Milton (signed to Cincinnati Bengals’ practice squad)

    Pittsburgh Steelers

    Tennessee Titans

    Wide receiver Kearis Jackson

    Washington Commanders

Wide receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint (signed to Philadelphia Eagles practice squad)

Roster cuts are a bummer for several former Bulldogs looking to make an impact in the NFL. More players will find their ways on to practice squads as injuries pile up throughout the season. UGA fans looking for former Bulldogs will more than likely focus on players on the active roster.

There are currently 45 Georgia Bulldogs on active rosters and nine players on practice squads. A great number of Bulldogs are key contributors for their teams.
