Which uniforms will the Washington Commanders wear against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to kick off the 2024 season?

On Saturday, the Commanders revealed they’d wear burgundy jerseys with white pants via their official X account.

Fans who want the gold pants will have to wait at least one week. And judging from the comments on Washington’s uniform reveal, fans are disappointed with the choice.

In an attempt to restore some of the franchise’s previous popular traditions, the Commanders announced that gold pants would be returning as part of the uniform combination in 2024.

At least it’s not the divisive all-black uniforms for Washington. The black alternates were first introduced in 2022, and fans were split. While some like the black uniforms, others are strongly against them. The Commanders are 1-5 in the black alternates.

Washington and Tampa Bay kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon.
