MVNU's Hodkinson named CoSIDA Academic All-American First Team
Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Evan Hodkinson was named CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team on July 10, after excelling in both his schoolwork and running track. According to a release by MVNU, Hodkinson, who hails from Dalton, had a terrific junior season where he was also named NAIA All-America First Team. He was All-League in the 4x800 meters at the Crossroads League Indoor Championships, as well as winning the conference in the 1000 meters with a meet record time of 2:26.25. He was also named Most Outstanding Athlete of the meet.
