A scary situation unfolded in Colorado's ski country in mid-October involving an alleged armed robbery attempt followed by an alleged burglary in a neighboring ski town village. On October 26, a suspect in the case was arrested. The incident is said to have started at about 4:00 a.m. on October 20, when suspect Mamadou Gatta Sow, 40, allegedly attempted an armed robbery at the Maverik Gas Station in Avon.
