A work crew in upstate New York reportedly killed a snake in "self-defense" after it tried to attack them last week. Earlier this week we told you about a work crew from Albany Water that was attempting to fix a water main in upstate New York when a gigantic snake reportedly came out from the woods and slithered its way to the work site. At first, it was reported that when the crew saw the snake they called the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) to report it, and soon after a DEC crew responded to capture and remove the snake.

Per a report from ABC News 10 and other outlets, a three-story warehouse building located at 20 Learned Street in Albany caught fire late Friday night. A grand jury has indicted a second man in connection with the death of a woman killed after her ex-boyfriend was sentenced for assaulting her. Patrick Dean, 37, was arrested last month in the death of Sky Lemmons-Dixon, the Times Union reported. Lemmons-Dixon, 23, was shot in her State Street Apartment last Christmas Day. She died on Jan. 1.

Cohoes Police said officers were called to the city’s fire department on Central Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. that evening for vandalism to a fire truck. The vehicle’s windshield had been shattered by a rock, leaving nearly $1,500 in damage.
