Dubuque Accident Serious Injures One And Damages Two Homes
Dubuque Police say one person was seriously injured and two homes along the street sustained damage in an accident involving two vehicles and four others that were parked. Police say the crash happened around 4 o’clock Monday evening on White Street near the intersection with 21st Street. According to the report a vehicle driven by 34-year old Justin Sandahl of Dubuque sideswiped a parked vehicle before veering to the other side of the street and striking three other parked vehicles. Another vehicle driven by 74-year old Mary Kircher of Dubuque was hit by one of the parked vehicles that rolled into her path. Kircher’s vehicle hit a porch on White Street trying to avoid the collision. One of the other parked vehicles that was hit also rolled across White Street and struck the porch of another home. Both home sustained around $60-thousand dollars damage each.

Davenport, IA – A fatal accident on North Brady Street claimed the life of a 25-year-old motorcyclist late Wednesday night. The Davenport Police Department, along with Davenport Fire and Medic EMS, responded to the scene at approximately 9:40 p.m., where the collision occurred in the 500 block of North Brady Street.
City of Jefferson Highlighted Several Times at Iowa Downtown Conference
Representatives with Jefferson Matters recently attended a statewide event. The Iowa Downtown Conference was held in Cedar Rapids earlier this week and Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich was one of the individuals that went.
