North Iowa man caught with stolen guns and a pipe bomb is sentenced to federal prison
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – A Hancock County man is being sent to federal prison after being found with more than 25 stolen firearms and explosives. Tommy Gretillat, 44 of Corwith, pleaded guilty in February to possession of a firearm by a felon. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa says evidence showed that when Hancock County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at Gretillat’s home related to an investigation into multiple burglaries in the Humboldt County area, he was found to have more than 25 stolen firearms, explosives or destructive devices, a pipe-bomb, as well as other stolen property.
