1 stabbed, 1 arrested after conflict in Oxnard's La Colonia neighborhood

An Oxnard man was stabbed once in the abdomen Monday morning during a fight in the city's La Colonia neighborhood, police said.

Officers with the Oxnard Police Department were called to the 600 block of Cooper Road around 5:30 a.m. on a report of a stabbing victim. Officers found a 32-year-old man who was taken to Ventura County Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

A 30-year-old Oxnard man was arrested at the scene. Police said the stabbing was related to "an ongoing conflict."
