Chewy, sweet, and soft caramel-like Medjool dates are split and then layered with brown butter toasted corn flakes, creamy peanut butter, and a thick layer of salted chocolate. Magically, these taste just like a Peanut Butter Cup smashed into a Snickers bar. It’s a wonderful “candy bar-like” situation except not as sweet – and I swear, even more DELICIOUS!

Step 1Line a 20.5cm square tin that’s at least 4cm deep with baking parchment, making sure excess hangs over the sides. For the base, whizz the biscuits in a food processor until finely crushed (alternatively bash in a food bag with a rolling pin). Pulse/mix in the coconut oil until combined. Empty into the lined tin and press to level with the back of a spoon. Chill until needed.
