Chef Chloe Coscarelli Opens New Restaurant in Manhattan

After a years-long legal battle with her former restaurant partners, the acclaimed vegan chef opens a new spot with a strong commitment to sustainability and community.

Simplicity and brilliance unite at CHLOE, a new casual, made-to-order café that opened its doors this month. Founded by acclaimed vegan chef Chloe Coscarelli, this plant-based eatery brings a fresh perspective to the heart of Greenwich Village, located at 185 Bleecker Street. Though the café is new, Chef Chloe’s mission is deeply rooted in NYC, where she began her culinary journey.

A Curated Plant-Forward Menu

CHLOE offers a thoughtfully curated menu focusing on pure, high-quality ingredients. Chef Chloe draws inspiration from fresh, seasonal produce to craft dishes that are both flavorful and nourishing. The café features rotating seasonal recipes like the Summer Corn Mac and Roasted Tomato Basil Soup, alongside year-round favorites such as Butternut Nachos and the Classic Burger. For those with a sweet tooth, CHLOE’s robust bakery menu includes vegan cookies, cakes, muffins, and more.

CHLOE's Commitment to Sustainability

In a bid to promote sustainability, CHLOE has partnered with Rethink Food to donate excess food and minimize waste. This conscious engagement toward food stability underscores the café’s dedication to environmental responsibility and community support.

A Welcoming, Timeless Design

To bring Chef Chloe’s vision to life, the café enlisted Dekar Design. The classic, crisp white awning outside invites patrons into an interior that exudes warmth and charm. Special touches like hand-painted tiles on the bar façade and jewel-toned marble wallpaper create a homey atmosphere. A long communal dining table with eclectic stools encourages friendly conversations among guests. The eco-conscious ethos extends beyond the menu, with lighting fixtures from MushLume Lighting made from sustainably-sourced hemp and mycelium.

CHLOE is open Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm-9pm and is located at 185 Bleecker St, New York, NY 11221.
