Former Wapakoneta mayor wins appeal on 2022 conviction
AUGLAIZE COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The former Wapakoneta mayor wins his appeal for his 2022 conviction in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court. The 3rd District Court of Appeals released its opinion on the case against Tom Stinebaugh. The judges heard arguments back in September 2023 on his appeal. Stinebaugh was sentenced to 18 months in prison after a jury found him guilty of having an unlawful interest in a public contract and theft in office. However, the 3rd District Court vacated both those convictions. He was also found guilty of three counts of conflict of interest, but the appellate court did not change those decisions.
Dunklee found competent to face murder charge
Jul. 16—OTTAWA — Konner Dunklee, the Lima man charged with murder and other assorted felony counts in the April 18 shooting death of a woman at a Leipsic trucking company, has been found competent to stand trial. Veterans Food Pantry gets a helping hand from July 4th Veterans Cruise-in Car Show
ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The organizers of the 4th of July Veterans Cruise-in presented a check to the Veterans Food Pantry of Northwest Ohio. The donation will provide much-needed food assistance to veterans, their spouses, and active-duty service personnel. The organizers were able to raise twelve hundred dollars through donations at the Veterans Cruise-in Car Show in Faurot Park as part of the Star Spangled Spectacular, and they are happy to help those who served.
