Stepping into Blue Benn is like stepping back in time. This diner, established in 1948, offers a nostalgic experience with its vintage decor and jukebox. The food may be average, but the ambiance is worth the visit.
On my recent visit, I found the place bustling with activity. The parking lot was full, and there were people waiting for a table. I chose to sit at the counter and ordered the Ruben, which was fresh and served quickly. The vibe was classic diner all the way, exactly what I look for on the road.
The retro silver bullet train style diner offers both booth and counter seating. The seasoned waitstaff is friendly and efficient. I also tried the tofu scramble and the spinach pesto omelet, both of which were excellent. The coffee was really good too.
Blue Benn is a popular spot among locals, and it's easy to see why. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. It may be small, and you may have to wait, but the wait is quick, and it's worth it. If you're looking for breakfast, brunch, or lunch and can't decide, Blue Benn is always a good choice.
