Man, 21, critically injured in Brockton shooting outside Westgate Mall
BROCKTON — A 21-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting outside the Westgate Mall on the night of the Fourth of July, police said. Officers responded to a report of a shooting in an outer perimeter parking area of the Westgate Mall at about 11:56 p.m. on Thursday, Brockton police spokesperson Darren Duarte said.
Boston-area shootings leave 1 dead, four others wounded
(AP) — One man was killed and four other people were wounded in three shootings in the Boston area following the city’s Fourth of July celebrations. The fatal shooting occurred about 1:30 a.m. Friday in a park near Boston’s South End neighborhood. The man’s name wasn’t immediately released. At about the same time three other individuals were wounded in a shooting in the city’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood. A third shooting at a gas station later left a victim with life-threatening injuries.

ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Two individuals were transported to Athol Hospital Tuesday after two separate accidents occurred on Templeton Road in Athol. In the first accident, a vehicle crossed lanes and struck another vehicle, while a third vehicle collided with them leaving one passenger injured.
