Speed radars make an immediate impact in Northfield
NORTHFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Northfield residents have noticed an immediate effect of the new speed radar signs placed on Maple, Gulf, Warwick, and Mt. Hermon roads. GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — On Tuesday, a Greenfield woman was arrested for her alleged involvement in a three-person South Windsor, Connecticut car theft that took place in April of 2023. Yanassis Ruiz, 24, of Greenfield was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle and failure to appear in the 2nd degree.

Two accidents on Templeton Road in Athol Tuesday
ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Two individuals were transported to Athol Hospital Tuesday after two separate accidents occurred on Templeton Road in Athol. In the first accident, a vehicle crossed lanes and struck another vehicle, while a third vehicle collided with them leaving one passenger injured. The traffic resulting from the accident caused another accident when a vehicle attempted to turn around and was struck by a motorcyclist, who sustained injuries.
