One person hurt after motorcycle crash in Vernon county
TOWN OF JEFFERSON, Wis. (WEAU) - One person is hurt after a motorcycle crash in Vernon County on July 7. According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, the rash happened on County Road Y in the Town of Jefferson around 3:00 p.m. The sheriff said 41-year-old Jonathon Wickus of Rollingstone, MN entered a restricted area, traveling down the concrete overflow spillway where he lost control and crashed into a grassy area.
Four teens arrested following police chase on County MM
Four teenagers were arrested early in the morning of Friday, July 19 following an incident where they ran from a disabled vehicle on County MM at Rome Corners Road. According to a Dane County Sheriff’s Office news release, the arrests were made in the town of Oregon after a disturbance where Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a 911 disconnect at 5:27 a.m. When deputies arrived, several people ran from a disabled car on the side of the road.
