Hill to live lifelong dream as a Bulldog
Tupelo 2026 running back Jaeden Hill camped at Mississippi State earlier this month with his Tupelo teammates. It was the most recent visit the talented running back has made to Starkville over the course of his life. Born into a Bulldog family, Hill dreamed of taking the field at Davis Stadium some day wearing maroon and white. The opportunity was offered earlier this year. Two Tupelo players commit to Mississippi State
Tupelo running back JJ Hill and defensive back Iverson McCoy both announced on X on Monday that they were committing to Mississippi State. Hill chose to stay in the state of Mississippi and head to Starkville over offers from Ole Miss, Florida, Auburn and more, according to 247Sports. The Tupelo junior is a three-star prospect and is also the No. 9 2026 prospect in the state, according to 247Sports’ composite score.

A Mississippi woman faces a felony after being arrested on a third domestic violence charge. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, on June 25, deputies responded to a domestic violence call on Highway 315 E.
