VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton swimming & diving teams sent their 21 seniors out in style, setting six pool records and sweeping Wagner in its annual Senior Day Meet on Saturday afternoon at the Saunders Aquatic Center. The Bearcat men defeated the Seahawks 203-92 while the women took a 192-105 decision. Binghamton had nine women and 12 men honored before the meet during the program’s annual Senior Day ceremony. Binghamton Swimming & Diving Teams Ready for America East Championships
VESTAL, N.Y, — The Binghamton swimming & diving teams travel to the America East Championships, which will be held Wednesday-Saturday. For the first time ever, the meet will be hosted by Virginia Military Institute (VMI). On the men’s side, the Bearcats return three defending individual champions and all four members of last season’s winning 4×800 free relay team. The Binghamton cross country teams are set to compete in the America East Championships hosted by Maine on Friday morning, with the men's 8,000-meter race starting at 10 a.m. and the women's 5,000-meter race at 11 a.m at the Penobscot Valley Country Club. Bears Announce 2024-2025 Home Opener
The Binghamton Black Bears will hang their Commissioner's Cup banner on Saturday, October 12th during the team's home opener. The 2024-2025 FPHL schedule has not been released, but the Black Bears did announce on social media that the team's home opener will be on October 12th at 7 pm against the Watertown Wolves. The team also alluded that the home opener will be the day the 2023-2024 Commissioner's Cup Champions banner will be hoisted.
