R&B music is for all varieties of loving, and Lucky Daye tapped into his sensual side this week. The 38-year-old serenaded Melyssa Ford onstage during his New York City show .

The “Roll Some Mo” singer stopped by Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday evening (Aug. 7) as part of his tour supporting his latest album Algorithm . At one point, the former video vixen walked on stage as he began singing “Paralyzed” from the LP.

She sat on a stool and watched him sing while they both caressed one another. It got pretty lusty, with her grabbing the top of his pants and pulling him closer. Lucky reciprocated the energy, abandoned singing, and kneeled between Ford’s legs, even catching her off guard as she made a surprised face.

Melyssa Ford recounted the experience on her Instagram with a full video. “This was not on my bingo card but HOOTIE F**KING HOOOOOO!!!” she wrote in the caption. “@iamluckydaye at #radiocitymusichall Me & the boys had a slice tonite! @joebudden @emanny music.”

Her Joe Budden Podcast co-host Emanny had a rousing review of Lucky Daye’s performance. “Lucky Daye is currently the best male R&B artist out!!!!!” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter). He followed up by clarifying where he places Chris Brown and why he believes his claim about Lucky.

“Chris Brown TO ME surpassed being boxed to one genre and I don’t add him to ‘best’ convos bc he’s in an elite class with very few others,” he wrote in a follow-up tweet. “So let me correct prior tweet and say ….Lucky Daye is the best male R&B artist of this new generation of acts.”

Lucky Daye’s Algorithm Tour continues on Friday (Aug. 9) with a show at the Norva in Norfolk, VA. He will hit other major cities such as Charlotte, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, and Phoenix before finishing up in Los Angeles on Aug. 28.
