Travis Scott is fed up with the paparazzi, and it all came down to a confrontation in France. A video went viral on Thursday (Aug. 8) showing Scott leaving a late-night studio session in the City of Light while being trailed by some paps or better yet, paps in training.
An agitated Travis exited the stopped vehicle to press the camera crew over, who were pursuing him all day. He offered the crew some advice and how they could potentially make better use of their time.
“This has to be the weirdest amount of people I’ve ever met in my life. Go to sleep. How old are you?… Y’all [are] too grown for this. Go get some. Catch a vibe,” he expressed. “Now, from here, go do something other than follow me. Go to the park. Go to the movies, get some grass, get some sun, go find a girl, [or] get some ice cream! Enjoy yourself. I just made some beautiful music. You’re 16. You’re 14. Y’all ni**as weird as hell.”
Scott recently came under fire for actions that Kid Capri deemed “weird as hell.” AllHipHop shared a clip that featured the Houston native signing some memorabilia for a group of his fans. However, things came to a halt after the Utopia rapper decided to hit one of the fans with a surprise test.
Scott positions himself in the vehicle as if he’s about to close the door and asks what the name of his debut mixtape. The fan fails the test, and Scott closes the door as the crowd moans in disapproval. Capri caught wind of the video and voiced his frustration about the rapper’s “corny” behavior.
“Hey, yo, Travis Scott,” Capri said in a video uploaded to social media. “When we start being disrespectful to kids, bro? Little kid asked you for an autograph, pushed his hand away, looked at him like he was the devil and just walked away from him. At one time, you would’ve wanted somebody to ask you for an autograph or asked you for a picture or whatever it is he asked you for.”
“Celebs get where they getting, and they forget,” he added. “You know what I’m saying? Like dog, like 10 people died at one of your concerts. I would try to be as humble as possible. I’m not saying it’s your fault, but I would try to be as humble as possible when it comes to the fans, bro, they lift you up.”
