VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Independence Day always brings action and excitement, but the holiday can also bring danger.

Fire chief Tim Smith of the Vincennes Township Fire Department suggests that all residents releasing fireworks should have a bucket of water and a hose nearby.
