Palestine Labor Day Festival Just a Week Away
(Undated) – The countdown is underway to the next big event in Crawford County. The annual Labor Day festival in Palestine is just a week away. Events get underway a week from today with the first night of rodeo action and continue through the Labor Day Weekend. Saturday will feature the “Main Street Market Madness” in downtown Palestine, the annual “Chuckwagon Breakfast,” and night two of the rodeo. The final rodeo performance will be Sunday. Vincennes Man’s Bond Revoked in Child Death Case
A Vincennes man has turned himelf in following just under a week after his bond was revoked in Knox Superior Court One. 27 year-old Triston Kelley is charged with neglect of a dependent leading to death. That stemmed from a November 2022 incident in Vincennes involving the death of a then two year-old boy. Court documents allege the boy was shot accidentally from a gun left in a diaper bag at his home.
