Art in the Schools - Now on Youtube
Talladega City - Art in the Schools is now on YouTube. Checkout this instruction video by JC Morgan on how to create basic raindrops. Heritage Hall Museum has provided Arts Enrichment programs to Talladega City Schools for over 20 years, and it continues to grow. The program is a partnership with the Talladega City Schools and the Jemison Carnegie Foundation, and private Heritage Hall Museum and Art Center friends. The partnership enables Heritage Hall Art Art teachers to bring visual arts instruction to fourth, fifth, and sixth grades at Houston Elementary. Approximately 500 kids create and DO ART through this program. The program in 2024/2025 brings art instruction into the classroom and students continue to have access to the expanding video instruction library. The annual KidsART exhibit in June and July every year culminates the program with a selection of the children’s art created during the school year.
