Monrovia City Council to study affordable housing policy Tuesday
The Monrovia City Council will field options Tuesday for future housing policy and a potential new ordinance requiring affordable units in new buildings. During a study session that starts at 6:15 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 415 S. Ivy Ave., Planning Division staff members and consultants from Sagecrest Planning and Keyser Marston will present options for a possible “inclusionary housing” ordinance, according to an announcement by City Manager Dylan Feik’s office.

Fontana deputies took a 19-year-old man into custody following threats he allegedly made involving a firearm.
