We're comfortably into the top 10 of our most important Trojans for 2024. That means the emphasis really focuses on that crucial foundational question: "What would happen to the Trojans if they lost this player?" USC has to have constants at the line of scrimmage in order to succeed in 2024 as a new Big Ten team. That means the Trojan offensive line got a hard look when we ultimately compiled our final list. Emmanuel Pregnon is set to start at left guard for USC in 2024, and he certainly hit the crucial criteria mentioned above to earn the lofty No. 7 spot on our list.

Man Wounded in Shooting in Downtown Los Angeles
A 29-year-old man was shot in the stomach in downtown Los Angeles and police Saturday are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Beverly Hills issues statement on power outages
The city of Beverly Hills issued a statement on July 26 after recent power outages in the city. “This week, portions of Beverly Hills once again experienced unacceptable power outages,” the statement read. “Electricity to Beverly Hills is supplied through Southern California Edison. SCE is not owned, operated or in any way controlled by the city of Beverly Hills. Mayor Lester Friedman and members of the Beverly Hills City Council have communicated their immense frustration and urgent concerns to SCE regarding the increasingly frequent power outages. Under Beverly Hills’ agreement with SCE, the utility is obligated to provide residents and businesses with reliable power, and the city expects SCE to live up to its agreement and address its failing infrastructure in affected areas of the city.”
