Three Juveniles Arrested In Vine Grove
Three juvenile suspects were arrested in Vine Grove early Friday morning after police say they fled a traffic stop. In a Facebook post, Vine Grove police say two of their officers initially saw a suspicious vehicle idling with its lights on near Ethan Court in Vine Grove. When they approached the vehicle, three juveniles and an adult man fled, prompting a short chase.
Elizabethtown woman dies in motorcycle crash on WK Parkway
An Elizabethtown woman has died in a motorcycle accident on the Western Kentucky Parkway. The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash Friday evening at approximately 8:15 in the westbound lanes of the parkway near the 43-mile marker. According to WEVV.com, a witness told police the driver lost control of the motorcycle, but it was unclear why.
Search for missing man in Kentucky ends in ‘miracle’

A man suspected of shooting a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper is arrested in Kentucky
PRINCETON, Ky. (AP) — A man who was the subject of an intense search after the shooting of a Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper has been arrested in Kentucky, but a second suspect has not been found, authorities said. Braze Rucker was arrested early Sunday morning at a home in Princeton, Kentucky, that state’s police agency said in a news release. A search continues for a second, unidentified man who participated in the shooting and wounding of Trooper Adam Cothron on Friday on Interstate 40 in Putnam County, Tennessee, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said. Putnam County is located about 80 miles (130 kilometers) east of Nashville. Cothron was in stable condition at a hospital, the bureau said Sunday.

Elizabethtown man sentenced to prison for role in Jan. 6 Capitol attacks
An Elizabethtown man was sentenced to six months in prison July 9 for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021 attacks on the U.S. Capitol.
