Vineland man wanted in fatal shooting

A Vineland man is wanted in a fatal shooting in an apartment complex parking lot.

Police were called to the Asselta Acres Apartments at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday for a man wounded by gunfire, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said.

Dashon Lee, 35, was found in the parking lot of the complex on Axtell Avenue. He was taken to Inspira Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Angel Aguero, 31, is charged with murder, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Aguero should be considered armed and dangerous, Webb-McRae said. He should not be approached.
