The regular season has come to a close for most of the boys soccer teams across Hampton Roads, and region playoff games start Wednesday.

Great Bridge is 16-0 after wins over Deep Creek, Grassfield and Kempsville last week. The victories helped the Wildcats clinch their second straight Southeastern District title and made them the only undefeated boys team in the area. Great Bridge has been No. 1 in the rankings for eight weeks.

Landstown, First Colonial, Cox and Menchville rounded out the top five for the second week in a row.

Norview dropped from No. 9 to No. 14 after losses to then No-11 Granby and then No. 13 Gloucester. The loss to Granby gave the Comets the Eastern District title.

NOTE: These rankings are based on results reported to The Virginian-Pilot and Daily Press before Monday’s games, as well as results reported on MaxPreps. To report your score, email sports@pilotonline.com .
