Three shot, one killed outside downtown Visalia bar

VISALIA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A man was shot and killed outside of a Visalia bar early Sunday morning, the Visalia Police Department says.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East Main Street for a report of a shooting.

They arrived at Downtown Rookie’s Sports Bar and Grill to find three people who had been shot outside the establishment, one of whom was deceased.

The other two victims, police say, were not seriously injured.

Violent Crimes detectives were called to the scene to take over the investigation. They now say they would like to connect with several witnesses who left before officers arrived.

The shooting is an ongoing investigation, and the department asks if anyone has information about the case to please contact Detective Kyle Kalender at 559-713-4156 or leave a message on the anonymous tip line at 559-713-4738 and reference case number 24-060806.
