    Check out Tulare County's top high school fall sports performers for Week 1

    The Times-Delta/Advance-Register will recognize Tulare County's top high school sports performers on a weekly basis this school year.

    Coaches, please submit your results/top performers after each game, match or meet to sports reporter Vongni Yang at vyang2@gannett.com to have players highlighted.

    This story will be updated throughout the week with that information.

    Aug. 21

    Volleyball

    Khianna Hardwick, Golden West: Hardwick registered five kills, two blocks and 12 digs to lead the Trailblazers (1-1) to a 25-23, 25-11, 25-21 win over Kingsburg.

    Karolyne Moran, Golden West: Moran had two kills, five aces, 10 digs and 10 assists.

    Sidney Yanez, Golden West: Yanez added eight digs, two aces, five assists and also turned in a 13-point serving run.

    Azaria Garza, Golden West: Garza blasted four kills and 10 digs.

    R eagan Garland, Golden West: Garland had five kills.

    Katelynn May, Redwood: May fired 17 kills, three blocks and five digs as the Rangers (1-1) fell to Frontier 17-25, 19-25, 25-21, 20-25 in a non-league match.

    Andee May, Redwood: May recorded seven kills and four blocks.

    Payton Short, Redwood: Short distributed five kills, an ace, 14 digs and 14 assists.

    Angelina Miranda, Redwood: Miranda had an ace, 14 digs and two assists.

    Avery Bratsch, Redwood: Bratsch chipped in 13 digs and 11 assists.

    Grace Alipaz, Redwood: Alipaz added four kills and a block.

    Lana Alipaz, Redwood: Alipaz had three kills and four digs.

    Aubri Diaz, Redwood: Diaz generated seven digs.

    Zoe Alvarado, Redwood: Alvarado had five digs.

    Journey Vela, Redwood: Vela finished with four digs.

    Katelynn May, Redwood: May delivered 15 kills, four blocks and a dig as the Rangers defeated Bullard 25-17, 25-9, 25-13 in a non-league game.

    Grace Alipaz, Redwood: Alipaz finished with nine kills, five blocks and a dig.

    Payton Short, Redwood: Short had a kill, three aces, six digs and 15 assists.

    Angelina Miranda, Redwood: Miranda added 13 digs and an assist.

    Andee May, Redwood: May generated three kills, an ace, five blocks and four digs.

    Avery Bratsch, Redwood: Bratsch blasted two aces, four digs and six assists.

    Journey Vela, Redwood: Vela chipped in an ace and five digs.

    Lana Alipaz, Redwood: Alipaz pounded four kills and a dig.

    Aubri Diaz, Redwood: Diaz had four digs.

    Bailey Krauss, Redwood: Krauss netted an ace and three assists.

    Amelia Armenta, Redwood: Armenta registered a kill and a block.

    Zoe Alvarado, Redwood: Alvarado added two digs.

    Ellie Householder, Redwood: Householder had a kill.
