San Antonio police search for armed robbers after dispensary theft
San Antonio police are investigating after two different businesses were robbed by people with weapons in the evening on Saturday, July 6. The first robbery happened on the city's Far Northeast Side at around 7:43 p.m. at Grabuds, a vape shop and cannabis dispensary located at 14044 Nacogdoches Road, Suite 103, San Antonio, Texas, 78247. Police said that four people entered the store wearing dark clothing with face coverings, two of which had handguns. Preliminary information states the four individuals "worked together to steal various merchandise" before fleeing on foot. Police said they searched the area, but were not able to find the group of people. No information on the suspected robbers is known at this time. Police are continuing to investigate.

The Double Up Food Bucks program which requires no enrollment or special requests automatically applies a 50% discount at the register when customers use their SNAP cards. SAN ANTONIO — While crews remained on alert all Thursday night into the early-morning hours Friday, Bexar County officials said the number of fireworks-related fires they responded to in unincorporated areas and suburban communities this July Fourth dropped to 35 from last year's tally of 49.
