A 62-year-old Avon Lake man was seriously injured July 17 in a two-vehicle crash in Milan Township, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Troopers responded at 2:54 p.m. on state Route 113 at Kelley Road in Milan Township for the crash involving a motorcycle and a truck. Mentor Public Library offering children chance to beautify ceiling
Children ages 6 to 12 can channel their inner Michelangelo and beautify the ceiling of Mentor Public Library’s Main Branch during a free program. They’ll paint a ceiling tile during the Creative Tiles Art Gallery program at 2 p.m. Aug. 7 at the library’s Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave. The tiles will then be installed in the children’s story time and craft room ceiling for all to see, according to a news release.
