WATCHDOG: Questions continue over Realty Building security
Questions about who is allowed in the Realty Building during demolition continues. 21 News obtained pictures that show people dressed as construction workers taking items out of the realty building at dusk, on the night of July 11. Some of the items seen in the pictures are flat screen televisions, laptops and suitcases.
Dover reaches settlement with property owner near bridge project
DOVER (WJER) (July 19, 2024) – The city and a homeowner have finally agreed to a settlement involving a bridge reconstruction project that has been on hold for years. City officials have been discussing replacing the low-level bridge over East 20th Street near Dover Middle School since before ODOT awarded a $602,000 grant for the project in 2020. Three neighboring property owners reached eminent domain agreements with the city for small portions of their property, but a fourth has been holding out. The ensuing court case has been ongoing since 2022.
