WAKEENEY, Kan. (KSNW) — The WaKeeney Police Department is asking for information about the vandalism taking place at the Bryant Motel, 219 Barclay Ave.

The WPD says while the owner has been doing renovations, vandals have been shooting windows with a BB gun, causing significant damage.

“So far, two windows have been broken, costing $500 per window to replace,” said the WPD in a Facebook post . “If this continues, the cost will escalate, potentially leading to felony charges for criminal damage. If you think this behavior is amusing, remember it could lead to serious consequences, including loss of freedom and financial penalties.”

Anyone with any information is asked to please come forward. You can contact the WPD by stopping by 525 Warren Ave. , calling 785-743-5711 , or emailing mromero@wakeeneypd.org . You can remain anonymous.
