Fundraiser to support families of students killed in crashes
ST. FRANCISVILLE, La. (WAFB) - A community in West Feliciana Parish is coming together to support the families of two students who lost their lives over the last few weeks. Big River Pizza Co. and the Big River Running Club in St. Francisville will host a fundraiser on Tuesday, July 16 in honor of West Felicana Schools students Zacarri M. Scott and Rayshon M. Franklin. The young men were killed in separate crashes.
Small child hurt in Sunday wreck, both drivers were injured and charged with DWI
A 3-year-old was hurt in a Sunday, July 14 wreck in West Feliciana Parish, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop A. Both drivers were arrested, charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
