WELLINGTON — It took a week to do it but the Maniacs finally proved they’re the best Lorain County Hot Stove team in Class F and in Grafton. Behind the pitching of Brendon Kitts and Hunter Dingess, who combined for 16 strikeouts, the Maniacs defeated the Mavericks, their crosstown foe, 12-2 in six innings in the county championship game in the 13-14 age group Wednesday at Wellington Community Park.
