    Deputies arrest suspects involved in stealing watch off teenager leaving prom party in Waldorf

    WALDORF, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Charles County deputies arrested two people for allegedly robbing a teenager of his watch while he was leaving a prom party back in May.

    The Charles County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said on May 10 at around 7:30 p.m., two suspects went up to a teenager who was leaving a prom party on Devongate Street. They put one gun to the teenager’s abdomen, another to his head and demanded he hand over his designer watch.

    They then got away in a dark-colored sedan.

    The two suspects were identified as 24-year-old Ryle Michael Mili and 19-year-old Jeremiah Hames Jenkins.

    On July 7, deputies saw Mili leaving his house, conducted a traffic stop and took him into custody. During the traffic stop, Anthony Torren Jefferson, 19, was driving the car and had a loaded gun on him with an extended magazine. He was also arrested.

    Deputies searched Mili’s home and found evidence linking him to the robbery. They also found a loaded gun with an extended magazine, a drum magazine and rifle ammunition.

    Mili was charged with armed robbery, first-degree assault, use of a firearm during the commission of a crime and other related charges.

    Jefferson was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, handgun on a person and handgun in a vehicle.

    Then on July 11, deputies found and arrested Jenkins.

    He was charged with armed robbery, first-degree assault and other related charges.

    All three men were being held at the Charles County Detention Center without bond.
