CCSO said two officers trained in crisis intervention spoke to the distressed person for about an hour before the individual exited the car and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police said this is one of two incidents recently involving a mental health crisis where officers utilized crisis intervention techniques to get a distressed person treatment.
