Man accused of robbing hotel after using its bathroom charged with armed robbery
LIVINGSTON COUNTY, MI – A man accused of robbing a Brighton hotel after using its bathroom has been arraigned and is awaiting his next court hearing. Joshua Lee Bargovan, 22, of Howell was arraigned July 17, on one count of armed robbery for allegedly robbing the Hampton Inn Suites, 8068 Challis Road, in Brighton on July 15, according to the Brighton Police Department.

Central City Health (CCH) will host “CCH Dental Days” in August, offering free dental exams and X-rays to the community. The events will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays, August 2, 23, and 30, located at 10 Peterboro St. in Midtown Detroit. This health and wellness initiative is designed to enhance oral health in the community by providing comprehensive dental care to those in need. Millage renewal for Michigan township’s fire, police services on August ballot
WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI - A millage to help fund a Washtenaw County township’s police and fire services is up for renewal in August. Residents of York Charter Township will vote whether to renew a millage that would generate roughly $4.3 million across its five years, according to the millage proposal on the Aug. 6 ballot.
