Pontiac Man Charged with Second-Degree Murder in Connection with Fatal Warren Police Chase
A man has been charged in connection with a high-speed chase and fatal crash in Warren, as Warren police disclosed yesterday. Damaree Darvell Terry, a 26-year-old resident of Pontiac, faces charges including second-degree murder after a police chase ended in catastrophe, as reported by The Detroit News. The pursuit, which began on Eight Mile Road, involved three Dodge Chargers and culminated in a devastating collision at the intersection of 10 Mile and Dequindre roads, where Katrina Michael, a 42-year-old mother of two, was killed.

Boaters asked to avoid portion of Huron River after discovery of raw sewage
ANN ARBOR, MI -- Boaters have been asked to remain upstream of South Pond on the Huron River after raw sewage was discovered near an Ann Arbor school. Roughly 75 gallons of raw sewage reached a storm drain near Pittsfield Elementary School, 2543 Pittsfield Blvd. in Ann Arbor, according to a release from the city of Ann Arbor. City officials were notified of dried sewage and debris at a city-owned manhole behind the school in the early afternoon of Wednesday, July 3.
