    Wallingford man arrested for allegedly stabbing relative during dispute

    WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Wallingford man was charged for allegedly trying to stab one of his relatives during a dispute.

    Two arrested for stolen vehicle, firearm possession in Southington

    Alan Munoz-Velez, 28, was charged with two assault charges, tampering with physical evidence and breach of peace. The incident happened at 12:34 p.m. on June 24 in the driveway of 533 Center St. in Wallingford.

    According to police, another relative tried to intervene in the altercation between Munoz-Velez and the male victim, and sustained a non-life threatening cut to his right hand. He is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
