Men's Track and Field 2024 Season in Review
PROVO, Utah - BYU men's track and field season culminated in four First Team All-Americans, an Individual Outdoor Big 12 Champion and five new school records. Lucas Bons highlighted the men's team at the 2024 Indoor National Championships in Boston, with his third place performance in the men's mile, earning First Team All-American recognition. BYU also saw Second Team All-Amercian performances from Aidan Troutner in the mile as well as the Cougars' 4x400m team featuring Eli Hazlett, Trey Jackson, Abram Schaap and Josh Taylor.

Ski Club’s Springer Tournee hosting large hill competition Saturday. The Park City Ski and Snowboard Club will host the large hill competition event of their Springer Tournee Saturday night at the Utah Olympic Park. Ski jumpers will be flying from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets will be $20 for patrons age 13 and up, while children 12 and under can attend for free. Salt Lake City band Theoretical Blonde will play the event, and there will also be food trucks and beer on tap. The competition will cap off the 25th Springer Tournee, which has featured a week of ski jumping and Nordic combined training, mentorship and competitions.
