Two inmates die at SCI Camp Hill within 24 hours
CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) – The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections says a second SCI Camp Hill inmate died hours before after another inmate was killed. Inmate Bryan Conrad, 50, was found unresponsive in his cell on July 1 and pronounced deceased at 3 p.m. despite life-saving measures. The Cumberland County Coroner’s office says Conrad, who was serving a 4 to 8-year sentence for Failure to Comply with Registration of Sexual Offenders Requirements, died by suicide. He had been at SCI Camp Hill since April 6, 2023.
Police: Cumberland County man exposed himself multiple times to bar patrons
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A Cumberland County man has been charged after allegedly trying to fight people and exposing himself at a Camp Hill bar. According to the Lower Allen Township Police Department, on June 26 around midnight, officers were dispatched to Brewhouse Grille for an active fight. One man, identified as Cody Edman, 28, was allegedly actively trying to pick fights and exposing himself.
State police issue warrant for man accused of raping child in Adams County
Police issued an arrest warrant for a man they have charged with allegedly raping a child in Adams County, according to court records. Warren Schelhaus, 40, who was identified as an East Berlin resident in 2022 court documents, was charged by Pennsylvania State Police with felony counts of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault, and indecent assault to a child, in court documents filed on Monday, June 24, 2024.
Cumberland County man charged with insurance fraud
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A Cumberland County man was arrested after allegedly causing over $17,000 in damage to a potential customer's roof. According to the Lower Allen Township Police Department, on Sept. 11, 2023, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Allendale Way in reference to criminal mischief on a resident's roof.

Greencastle man charged with causing thousands of dollars in damage by throwing rocks at cars on I-81
03 July 2024- Half a dozen charges are being levied against a 23 year old Greencastle man after he allegedly threw rocks at multiple vehicles on I-81 this week. Joshua Aaron Shelton has been charged with felony criminal mischief damaging property, misdemeanor propelling missiles into occupied vehicles, three misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment, and misdemeanor corruption of minors. Shelton is behind bars in Franklin County on $5,000 bail.

01 July 2024- Luckily nobody seems to have been injured following an incident in Chambersburg Borough over the weekend where Chambersburg PD had to deploy a taser against a man they believed had a weapon. Damon M. Holloway is facing charges of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor assault, and misdemeanor terroristic threats. He remains behind bars on $5,000 bail.
