WALNUT COVE — South Stokes’ Ryleigh Pinnix is looking forward to many things during her senior year, but none more than signing her letter-of-intent to play softball for Lenoir-Rhyne University.

During her time playing for the Sauras, Pinnix has helped led her team to a conference championship, two conference tournament championships and two regional state playoff appearances. She has earned All-Conference, All-Tournament and All-District during her time on the field at South Stokes.

She plays travel softball for Carolina Cardinals National Chandler 18U and loves the adrenaline rush she gets from stepping on the field.

Pinnix loves her family and says growing up in her house with her two sisters and parents has been a blessing.

Ryleigh cares for people, and one of her favorite things about attending South Stokes is the good friends that she has met along the way. If you know her, then you know she would drop everything for the people she loves.

Pinnix plans to major in business and minor in coaching while attending LR.
