Belvidere’s Grant Castner Captured Art in Nature
The beginning of photography art in nature is a moment in time, perfectly captured light, shadow and reflection from a river that has no pause. In a recent webinar, Gary D. Saretzky, curator, archivist, photographer and educator, discussed the photographic work of Grant Castner, Belvidere native. Titled “Grant Castner, Trenton Photography: The Delaware River and Canals, 1890-1920,” the webinar featured much of Castner’s work that is on display at the New Jersey State Museum until September 15, 2024.
Pine Island Chamber Reveals 2024 Black Dirt Scholarship Winners
The Pine Island Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce this year’s Black Dirt Scholarship winners. The Chamber is awarding four scholarships of $1500 each to students who demonstrate a commitment to and involvement in community volunteer service or community work experience.
