Blaney wins Pocono for second victory of the season
(Long Pond, PA) — Ryan Blaney is celebrating his second NASCAR Cup Series victory of the season following a win in the Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway. The driver of the No. 12 car led a race-high 44 laps and held off Denny Hamlin and Alex Bowman to earn the top spot. Blaney took home the checkered flag in the Iowa Corn 350 last month. William Byron and Joey Logano rounded out the Top-Five finishers.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Elliot Weinstein, 81, on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, New York. An alum of Richmond Hill High School in Queens, Long Island University Brooklyn, and Brooklyn Law School, Michael was a proud marine, crediting his time in the service for being the inspiration he needed to be prepared for life. He was a two-term district attorney of Pike County, and was a lifelong active Democrat. He was a volunteer EMT with the Milford Fire Department (and a trained medic) for decades. He practiced law for 51 years, and was a brilliant and successful trial lawyer. He was an avid fisherman and sailor, and a licensed captain.
