Florida Man Had 13 'Explosive Devices' In Truck, Pennsylvania State Police
The unnamed man was stopped in Tobyhanna on July 5 and "deemed to be under the influence," according to troopers. Authorities obtained a warrant and said they found 13 explosives during a search of his GMC Sierra. PSP's Hazardous Device and Explosives Section (HDES) took custody of the devices for investigation, police said.

Students practice gardening in extended school year program
The Warwick Valley Central School District’s Extended School Year program is in full swing this week as students have been learning to make s’mores, lanterns, and binoculars. Students planted sunflowers outside and immersed themselves in real-life experiences as gardeners. They coupled this experience with learning new vocabulary words about how to plant and how plants grow. They also performed occupational therapy exercises by pouring dirt and planting the seeds themselves.

Bud Bus owner faces new charges
William Schlette, owner of the Bud Bus Co., faces new charges after police and prosecutors executed search warrants in four locations Wednesday, July 10. Schlette, 47, of West Nyack, N.Y., was charged with first-degree possession of more than 25 pounds of marijuana with intent to distribute, first-degree money laundering and second-degree racketeering. He also was charged with possession of more than 6 ounces of marijuana and five counts of conspiracy, both fourth-degree crimes, as well as deceptive business practices.

Murder charge: Young NJ woman was shot and killed with puppy
Authorities have identified a 21-year-old woman as the victim shot and killed in Warren County last week — for which a Morris County man has been charged with murder. Amanda Pulver, of Independence, was shot on June 27 after 8 a.m. along Alphano Road, according to Acting Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione.
