New York State Police: Bucks County man drowns in Delaware River
POND EDDY, N.Y. (WOLF) — The New York State Police is investigating the drowning of a Bucks County man in the Delaware River. According to NYSP, on Sunday, July 7, around 12:40 p.m., troopers responded to the area of 2362 State Route 97 in Pond Eddy—east of Lackawaxen along the state borders—for a reported drowning in the Delaware River.

CONCORD, N.C. - For the first and only time in 2024, Hendrick Motorsports and the NASCAR Cup Series will take on "The Tricky Triangle" of Pocono Raceway. At 2.5 miles in length, Pocono's unique configuration provides a challenge to even the best drivers the sport has to offer. To start, competitors will build quite a bit of speed as they head down the long front straightaway. Into turn one, 14 degrees of banking allow for that speed to be carried through to the "Long Pond Straight" as the field heads to the difficult turn two. With only eight degrees of banking, the second turn, also known as "The Tunnel Turn," forces drivers to be cautiously aggressive as they head to turn three. Now working with only six degrees of banking, each driver must manage throttle time in order to build a run to the start/finish line.

Sparta Driver and Pedestrian Injured in Crash in Lafayette
LAFAYETTE, NJ – A Sparta High School student was seriously injured and a pedestrian sustained “moderate” injuries in a crash on Route 15 in Lafayette on July 3 at approximately 11:55 p.m., according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan. The pedestrian, Lafayette resident Stephanie Moore, 43 was taken to the hospital.
