Changes coming to temporary registration tags from NJ Motor Vehicle
On July 1, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission announced that it will begin distributing new temporary registration tags or “temp tags.”. The new tags are set up with a new format that will enhance security features and reduce fraud. This change follows the P.L.2023, c.285 law which aimed to authorize new tags with security measures and procedures.
