Silver Alert canceled for missing man from Roann

UPDATE 7:47 p.m.: The Roann Town Marshal’s Office has canceled the Silver Alert, confirming the man has been found safe .

ROANN, Ind. — A statewide silver alert has been declared in relation to a missing 73-year-old from Roann.

According to the alert, the Roann Town Marshal is investigating the disappearance of 73-year-old Steven Brubaker. Brubaker was last seen Thursday morning in Roann, which is a town 101 miles north of Indianapolis.

Brubaker is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs around 240 pounds. Brubaker has brown hair with blue eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray shorts and riding a blue, three-wheel electric bicycle.

If anyone has information on Brubaker’s whereabouts, they are asked to call the Roann Town Marshall at (260) 563-9223 or call 911.
