COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Republicans are considering trying to foil a redistricting reform amendment that recently qualified for the November ballot by putting up a separate redistricting proposal of their own to compete with it, according to a Republican state lawmaker who said she has discussed the plans with legislative leadership.
New Ohio law to impose tougher penalties on hooning and police chases
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) -- 90 days from now a new law will be in effect that will crack down on hooning and police chases across Ohio. Representative Phil Plummer and Dayton Fraternal Order of Police President Sgt. Kyle Thomas agree that House Bill 56 was much needed in order to provide harsher penalties to those who lead police chases, and to those who engage in hooning or reckless driving.

At the 96th Ohio FFA Convention in May, Sunrise Cooperative announced its 2024 class of new hires for the RISE FFA Career Program. Following an application and interview process, Sunrise hired 12 graduating seniors full-time. The program was developed to encourage employment with Sunrise Cooperative immediately following high school graduation. Sunrise is an agricultural and energy cooperative with locations across Ohio.
